What a Fresh Start of the Year!

Macbeth's Tragedy

What a fresh start of the year! It's the first month for the year 2010 and yet I'm so,so busy. We had to exert so much time and effort to earn a high grade in English. We have to go to school for a whole week. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to practice and do our props inside the school, so we need to find a new place to go. And there we find a space in the Elementary School of Tarece. There, we usually rehearse, though we lacked time. I think that destiny tests us. Every time we practice, we'll meet a tragedy or even a disaster. One time, while we were doing the props and having our practice, one of our groupmates stated that he doesn't want to perform. We almost broke down when he said that. The next thing we knew is that another one was also giving up because he said that he can't take it anymore (the comments we have recieved). Oh my God!!! I think that I'm also giving up but I can't because my groupmates and I wanted to prove something (I hope we had). Another terrifying thing we had encountered was when we were in the main building doing our props, we can't go down to eat our lunch because Father Jaime Quinto, the director and Mr. Dominador Menor, the CAT-I Commandant were downstairs and we afraid to go down because we didn't asked permission, we just sneaked upstairs.Tragedy won't leave us alone, it followed us everywhere. One time, when we were busily rehearsing our play, another groupmate of mine was strucked by destiny, she was bitten by a stray dog. So, we need to postpone our practice and then rush her in the clinic. We were very worried about her that we neglected the need for a practice. The day of the presentation came and we were hoping that the play would be an okay and that Mr.Tragedy wouldn't visit us anymore but unfortunately, he did. The dubbing we were playing rewinded. Arghh!!! Mr. Tragedy doesn't really wanna make us prove something. When the play came to an end, we were a bit disappointed because we haven't heard any uplifting words from the judges. "Great job! I know you did your best!" is all that we wanna hear. I guess that wasn't Macbeth's Tragedy but our own tragedy. After a few days our heartaches were vanished when we had a talk with our subject teacher in this matter. We had cleared everything that bothers us exept the fact that things weren't the same between us since that day (I hope I was wrong about that idea).

Sweet Moments with God
They say that you have to have time for everything. A time with your friends, family, special someone and God. And this is the time I've been waiting for. The time I'm gonna spend with God. This time is very unforgettable, not just because of the mouth-watering foods but because I have relaxed (no assignments, projects or quizzes to do...) and spent a quality time with our Creator. During these days, I've learn to appreciate life... that everything is a gift from God and there's nothing more to wish for.
